Is it really harder for short women to lose weight?

Is it really harder for short women to lose weight? Losing weight is a difficult process. However, it is even more difficult for some people than for others due to various factors: age, activity level, hormones, starting weight, sleep and ... height! You may have heard that it is more difficult for short people to lose weightIf you're not tall enough, then you know it firsthand.

But is it really harder or does it seem so because losing weight is not easy anyway? And if it does, why is it? In short, shorter women need to consume less calories than tall ones if they want to lose weight

The bitter truth is that if you have the same level of activity and overall health as your tall girlfriend, you need to eat less to lose weight while she has more room. Just because a short woman needs to consume less calories, she feels more deprived and restricted, making the effort to lose weight more difficult in her case. The reason for this is actually quite simple: the more muscle mass you have, the faster your metabolism works. Taller people have more muscle mass literally because of how they were born. Of course, the above truth is generally applicable. As we mentioned earlier, there are several factors that play an important role in metabolism and weight loss.
